Interceptor Carrier Board v2.0
Introducing the Exaviz Interceptor v2.0—a versatile carrier board compatible with Raspberry Pi CM4, CM5, and Banana Pi CM4. Designed for NAS, NVR, IoT, and Managed Switch applications, it supports up to two Interceptor PoE Boards for a total of 16 PoE+ ports.
Exaviz provides Debian DKMS packages from apt.exaviz.com that add full hardware support (switch driver and network configuration, plus the PoE driver for Interceptor PoE Boards) to standard Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit), so no custom OS image is required. To flash a CM5 with eMMC, an IO board is required. Exaviz OS, our earlier Debian-based image, is still available but is no longer being developed. See the Interceptor software guide for setup steps.
CM5 Notes: The CM5 does not enumerate its USB 2.0 ports at boot, and only the internal USB 2.0 lines of the USB 3.0 ports support flashing, which the Interceptor does not expose. There is no support for the CM5 USB 3.0 on the Interceptor Carrier Board.
